The results are in. Advertising on Facebook and Twitter is basically a waste of money. The marketing firm Forrester ran a study and reports that posts from top brands reach only 2% of their followers. Ouch.
“It’s time for marketers to start building social relationship strategies around sites that can deliver value,” says Nate Elliott, vice president and principal analyst at Forrester.
