Mariam Naficy was 28-years-old when she sold her first startup, an online makeup company, for $110 million. Though her first venture was obviously wildly successful, she understands something very important as she launches her second business: Not all organizations require the same care.

She’s learned some lessons and she’s ready to do even better.

“What you need is actually within your organization most of the time, and you have to be creative about getting people into the right roles, give them chances to expand and try new things. Often, you’ll be surprised.”
